Since dinner was so great at Season we returned there for breakfast!
We were both quite happy the heat wave was over.
We decided to go to Musee D’Orsay rather than the Louvre. We arrived around 10am which was the perfect time, there were no lines and we walked straight through. I would definitely go at this time, when we were leaving around 12pm the lines were massive. This also meant walking through the gallery was great as it wasn’t overcrowded. The Berthe Morisot exhibition was showing and it was really interesting to learn about her career and influence on art at that time. I was really excited and happy that I was about to see work by Monet, Manet, Van Gogh, Renoir and Degas along with the impressive and insanely huge Corbet paintings.

We made our was to Des Champs Elysees by walking through the Jardin des Tuileries towards the Arc de Triomphe. This is a great walk with some shelter along the way. The department stores in Paris are spectacular and we found Lafayette Champs Elysees which has lovely designer brands, although we were far more excited by the food court and had lunch there.
It was another massive walking day for us and found it far more enjoyable without the heat wave. You can definitely spend all day roaming the different streets and all of the beautiful museums, galleries, parks and department stores.
There was so much we didn’t quite get around to seeing, which means a definite future Paris trip!
Marrow is a delicious restaurant where we happily enjoyed our last meal of the trip. They have a small menu which is designed for sharing and changes regularly. Their cocktail and wine menu is also very very impressive along with the service. Highly highly recommend!!
Top Tip:
Try to go around 7pm before the rush, or make sure you book.
We have had an amazing time traveling the world over the past three months. Our next and final stop is Singapore! So stay tuned for more travel to come.
