Top Tip:
The bus is a great option to get back to Santiago. We used uber on the way there…… fair to say the bus was far more economical and comfortable.
We departed Concรณn with Nicky and Dan-Dan on a bus at 12:30. We then arrived in Santiago around 2:30 and found a taxi fairly easily to the airport. The domestic and international terminal are located in the same place which made it easy to navigate with our limited Espanol.
The flight was also fairly straight forward and we killed some time before our 6:00pm flight.
Another Top Tip:
It would have been easy to catch a 4:00pm flight as we had plenty of time!
Our flight arrived in Calama around 8:15pm. The airport had transfers to San Pedro which was easily orgainised as many people spoke English. We only had to wait for about 25 minutes before heading into town. Arriving around 10:30pm did make it a longer travel day, definitely keep in mind our top tip if youโre planning an adventure here.
