James organised the Mega bus from London Victoria coach station. Really easy to get to and very cost effective. We were going to train but the train was about 5 times the price. It is a decent trip taking 4 hours to get there with traffic.
Top Tip:
Make sure you have a good book or tv series to pass the time.
Relaxing arvo spent in our fantastic services apartment. Aaron Wise was the name of our accommodation which we highly recommend.
In the evening we walked along the river taff to Cardiff bay offering beautiful views of the harbour. Los Iguanas was our Mexican dinner spot Again fantastic catering to dietary requirements and a solid 7/10 ⭐️ We met up with Beno and Willy to get our tickets for tomorrow’s game. So lovely seeing them for a little catch up over a few beers.

Cricket World Cup!
Now the day had finally come! It was the perfect weather for the opening Black Caps game for the World Cup. The game was at Sophia gardens which was a lovely 5 minute walk with plenty of other fans.
The Black Caps smashed Sri Lanka so the game was over much earlier than expected. A great atmosphere with a Sri Lanka band really getting behind their team!
Top Tip:
IF YOU WIN THE TOSS IN CARDIFF AND THERE ARE CLOUDS IN THE SKY… HAVE A BOWL!
Everything in Cardiff is very central – stadiums, pubs, restaurants and the Cardiff castle. Since the game finished early it was the perfect afternoon for Cricket and beers in the park.
On route to Bristol
Brunch at Anna-lok vegan cafe before we left for Bristol. It was seriously good 10/10. We could not fault it and James quoted it as “My favourite breakfast so far”.
The Mega bus to bristol was only an hour or so and we were really excited to catch up with our friends.
